Visit a dig of Tudor house remains

Saturday 11 September, fMBP members will be on Monk Bretton Priory site from 10:30 am to 4 pm to welcome visitors for Heritage Open Day weekend. We will have stands, informal talks, quiz/hunt, boardgames, items for sale, membership forms, monk costumes, a scale model and cloister tours on the hour - full site tour 1 pm. Main car park on Grange Lane (S71 5QF), disabled accesss parking off Abbey Lane (S71 5QD)

The director of Elmet Archaeology will present findings from their July on-site excavation at our next monthly open meeting is set for Thursday 30 Sept., 7 pm Priory Campus, Pontefract Road, Lundwood.
